Keith, just looked at some of the pics and you were in awesome condition!! #arockon6ha# Big props brother..........not too often do we see guys over 50 years old looking like you do. When I get to a faster computer,I`ll check out the other pics...........my PC is too slow and I`d turn 60 by the time I got to see them all! LOL ;D So inspiring that I know I`ll have to come into Harrisburgh in my all time best ever shape just to look credible enough to stand on stage next to you. #bowdown3ht# Legs look unreal bro....................great job once again!! You will haahh I HAVE TO also! Keith and I would most likey be in the same class because we are both in that 5'6 - 5'9 range. It's like Yoda and the young skywalker hahah. TO be beating by Keith is like an honor. I should bring paper and a pen when I get up on stage next to him. RESPECT!

Just looked at the pics! Looking good Bro!!! How many were in each class? Masters? Open? In the Master's class altogether there were 10. In the Open Middleweight ( tough class!) there were 5. ( 1 guy did not show at night!) In the entire Men's Open there were 42? competitors And, of course, in the Men's Overall I was up against the 3 class winners from the other weight classes: Lightweight, Light-Heavyweight, and Heavyweight. It was a very competitive show with alot of quality physiques....down here there is always alot of competition in the contests as Florida just seems to produce alot of quality bodies! Keith

Congrats Keith! Glad the diet worked out for YOU! Just to clarify. He wasn't on the same diet as you. He was lean enough starting out that he didn't have to go as drastic. I set up diets based on the initial conditioning of a person. Nothing is cookie cutter.

Keith! That's great... I once did a show where they were ALL monsters! One guy just got done winning back to back overall shows, and he did the one I was in, just to prep for a photo shoot in Jamaica!
Eric, I understand. It's cool. All this is a very individual thing.

"Tim, The age group I competed in, in the Master's division was the Over 50....they wouldn't let me do the 40 since I had won that previously, or the 35 for the same reason. In the end, it really didn't make any difference. Just went out and won everything!!! Keith" Hey, Keith. Since you are not 50, why did they have you compete in the Men's Master 50+ Class? It's great that you won the Class, but how did the other guys, who were over 50, feel about that? At 64, I have competed in the 60+, 50+ and 40+, but never in the 70+. LOL Because I am over 50 ....no special exemptions for anyone as they would allow only one crossover Besides....their decision looked pretty good after I beat everybody in the Open. And...just for the record....I just had a birthday on June 6th, so as of right now I actually am 51. In case you need to know: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Health Vital Records D.O.B. 06/06/1956 File No. 0990400-1956 County of Birth: Allegheny Date Filed: 06-18-1956 Name: Keith Eugene Grieser Sex: Male Stamped and Sealed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Health And yes, I always do carry copies of my birth certificate to all my competitions in case there is some clown who takes a look at me and says I can't be that old!The judges have always been fine about things...it usually is another competitor who can't believe someone as old as them could be so much better!! Don't worry Scott....I'm still a long way from 60.....you're safe!!! LOL Hey, Keith: Thanks for clearing that up about your age. I thought you were 48, my bad. No doubt you scared the hell out of everyone, young and old. I'm proud of you, Warrior And, by the way, Keith, you are the one who is safe. LOL LOL LOL Most competitors I go up against, think I'm 50! LMFAO. Last year at 63, at an NPC show in Atlanta, I won the Open Bantam Weight Class at the National Qualifier and have a two year invitation to the NPC Nationals. It was fun going for the Overall, which was won by the Heavyweight. The three 20 something Bantam Weights I was up against at the show never saw me coming. I also won the Men's Master 50+ Class at that show and was invited to the 2006 NPC Masters Nationals. LOL You might be ready for me next year, when I'm on MediCare. Ha, ha, ha. My friend, Good Luck in your next show and I'm looking for you do do very well at the Master Nationals next month. You are in the Zone, you are Focused and you are Hungry...all the necessary traits are in place.

Hey Old Navy.....That Age stuff works..... At my wifes last Powerlifting Meet, a girl saw my wife lift, then asked her how old she was. When she found out that they were both in t he same Masters Class, the other girl withdrew from Masters and competed as NOVICE only. I now nicknamed my wife...."The INTIMIDATOR!"

BTW....I'm doing the master's Over 50 Lighteweight ( up to 164 and 3/4lbs),in the Southern States next month, (the 14th), and the NABBA Nationals on October 6th in Harrisburg, PA. This schedule just better suited me,financially in particular, for this season. The NABBA Nationals also affords me the opportunity to do the Open part of their Nationals competition..........I'll be doing the Open Short Class, and the Over 50 Master's Division in tne NABBA show. Keith I hear you, Friend. I am doing the Open Men's Lightweight Class (165.0 and below) at Saturday's NPA Nationals and the Masters 60+ Class at the Masters Universe at the same show in Ft. Lee, VA. I like to keep the kids on their toes in the Open Class. I'm also shooting for my fourth Masters Pro card on Saturday. Gotta take care of business and beat the Old Guys. LOL

Scott....C'mon admit it... it IS kinda fun beating kids half your age!!I had a couple of "kids" ( about 24-25 years old) who competed against me in the Open actually ask me to wait after the show to meet their girlfriends or families...and it was always "look at this guy...he's over 50 can you believe it?" It just follows what I have always believed in.....you can accomplish anything with the right amount of hard work. Eric (EBA84) and I have discussed this several times, and we both agree that alot of guys say or think they train hard, or diet hard, but in reality they don't, and they're just kidding themselves. It's the guys who know how to put EVERYTHING into their training and dieting that are ultimately successful. Eric is agreat example of this as well......he's Over 40 and look at him (NABBA Nationals page from last year) he looks tremendous regardless of his age...because he busts his ass in both his training and his diet, day in, day out, all year long.

Keith Shuuuuush....Keith...You just gave away our secret. Ha, ha, ha. Yes, Warrior, it's all about intensity in diet and training. It's all about the passion we have for our lifestyle. Most just don't "get it." How many times have you had guys look at you and say, "Yeah, I gotta get back in the gym." And, they never do. People tell me all the time, "Man, you look incredible." or, "Man, my dad is your age and he doesn't look anything like you do." We look like we do, Keith and Eric and others of our ilk, because we work at it, 24/7. Yes, I like to do well against younger competitors. But, more importantly, I enjoy the respect I receive from these young athletes and the inspiration I'm able to give to older men and women who look at me and say, "If he can do it, so can I."

I also want to take a little time here to thank two people who have been with me from the start as far as my boodybuilding career goes. Those two people are my brothers, Bill and Bob. They have always been in my corner 100%, doing anything and everything they could to help me in any way. When I compete it truly is a team effort with them forming the other 2/3 of the "team". I could never have accomplished what I have over the years without them, and consider myself VERY fortunate to have brothers like them.

I don't have any brothers or sisters. But, my two daughters (in college) are very supportive of their Dad's sport. And, my wife, Vivian, is 100% behind me. She shops for my food, helps me prepare my diet meals and takes care of the home fires when her "Old Navy Man" heads off to a competition (Kentucky, Georgia, Massachusetts, Alabama, Florida, Virginia, Louisiana and Canada). She has never once bit*hed when I have left her for a weekend of competing. Of my 20 shows, she has been to three (local). She has a mom who needs close attention and isn't able to travel to my shows. But that doesn't stop her from waiting for my phone call, when I am greeted with, "Hi, Baby. How did you do?" I love my wife very much and absolutely couldn't do this without her encouragement and support.

Finally able to get here. Like Tim, I expected nothing less. Keith was half past ready for a while.
Can't even express how proud I am of my cyber brother Keith. Feel privileged knowing him on line (internet and telephone), and he is one of the greatest people I've encountered.
Bet you rock Southern States also, buddy. You and your family deserve the elation and pride. You busted yourself enough for two shows, and this could not have happened to a better person or athlete.
One down!! ;D
