Did bi's, tri's and back. Moved my workout up a couple hours. I was feeling a little tired lately when I was working out and thought I would try an earlier time. It helped for sure.

Hey Tim i'm in the exact same situation as you now. About 3am this morning i was up to go to the gym. Went outside and it was freezing. My parents car was covered in solid ice. Had to pour boiling water over the car key hole to open the door, lol! Anyway got in the car and guess what, the bloody thing wouldn't start. Tried for 5 mins....nothing. So as i'm typing this i'm still anxious to get to the gym. I have been unable to train much the past 2 weeks. I've been going to the gym at my usual time and the flamin gym has been closed. You see there are two locks on the gym door. One which i have a key to as well as the other gym members. We can all open that one. But there is also another main lock which goes over the one i can open. The gym owner for some unknown fu*ked up reason has this lock secure at the moment. And its pissing me off. I have competitions coming up over thr coming months and i haven't been able to train consistently enough to gain extra strength. Not to mention the fact i'll be paying gym fee's this month for god know's why? Why the hell should i pay gym fee's when i can't bloody train? The problem with the car this morning is a major bit*h just now. There isn't really anything i can do about that since its the weather thats affecting the car. There's lots more bad weather to come which means i might not be able to train for awhile training during normal hours of the day for me is a problem. Life at the moment is absolutely ****!!! After typing that message before i ended up hopping on a bus Tim and just dragged my ass to the gym dispite the weather.
Had a good workout too. Made a 'PR' today on Clean High pulls - 407 pounds for 1 rep. It was actually more like a clean deadlift than a high pull though, lol! ;D Thats an 11 pound increase for me.

That`s a lot of weight bro, congrats! Unfortunately I can relate to your plight about the weather and cars.I`m waiting for a ride to the gym right mnowe to do chest, back, and shoulder`s.Something I wouldn`t normally do all at once but I guess I gotta` be glad that I`m training at all under the circumstances.I have a lot of goals that I kind of put on hold too at the moment as I can only hope to maintain strength and size at the moment.Oh well at least were training as best that we can.I wish I had busses here I would definately brave the elements then,no problem.Hang in there things will get better. I hope!!! ;D

Had a great chest, lats, and delts, day .Got there late, was in a crowd, so I worked circles around everyone there.I felt good tonight, training heavy and fast .All the college guy`s there did was an hour of sloppy benches, in the same time it took me to do all 3 bodyparts fairly heavy.Makes an old man feel pretty good at times to be a bodybuilder!

The car actually started up early this winterly morning. Got to the gym about 3.30am. Got the dentist early today so i decided to train earlier than usual.
Well as i got to the gym guess what....The friggin' gym's main lock was on which i can't open. I almost felt like ripping the damn thing off. That fu*ks my training up now if the gym isn't gona be open 24 hours. From monday next week for 2 weeks i won't be able to train during the day. And if the gym isn't open early morning around 2am or there abouts, i guess i'll be taking another break.
I need to get my own gym setup and get out of this rut. I hate depending on other people for anything. Not to mention paying gym fee's is a bit*h!

Hate to butt in but I think you guys equipping yourselves with a home gym is the ticket.
For what you spend in gym dues (not to mention what the stress of this is doing to your morale), you could probably get a long term loan for $5,000-$10,000 or much less, get a half cage, Smith, BB, db, bench, chin/dip bar, treadmill, elliptical machine and off you go. No more crowd, weather, car, problems. 24 hour access.
Roll out of bed and work out. I have a home gym (Hoist half cage w bench, chin/dip station, and TRUE treadmill and elliptical machine. All bought on sale new. Around 5 grand and now all paid for. Just the savings on stress is worth it. I don't have the time to dick around.

Thats alright if you have your own house and the space to build a home gym. But for those of us who still live at home with our parents, its a different story.
If i want my own gym i'd need to start my own business wich sounds pretty good. But that means finding property to buy to setup my gym, having to buy land etc. I'm not exactly sure what i would need to buy to setup a gym but it would take alot of money, thats for sure.

I do have a little bit of equipment now but nothing really adequate.I do have a big barn abd I plan on adding in a bit of basic stuff to it.Nothing too fancy just enoiugh to get in a good basic workout. After this incident with the car/weather I hope to have it done during the summer for insurance against this happening again.
