Do you guys find that doing legs/squats turns you into an animal? What I mean is that I can call upon TREMENDOUS intensity by doing squats. On other exercises I don't get that adrenalin rush to give out a might YELL and really push my body to the limit. Is it perhaps because squats employ so many different muscle groups working at once? I find that I can go maximum intensity on squats., the same with deads. It's amazing! I'm with ya... squats and ONLY squats bring out that "Animal Pak Ad" outta me.. it's like everything is VERY black-n-white, Metallica, Korn, or some kinda battlesque' type classical playin' in the background louder than sh*t.. Nothin' else seems to matter, hell, my neighbors house could be burning down and I don't think that would interrupt me (j/k of course, but you know what I mean here).. Squat day is the brink of insanity, my chick can't talk to me, and even when people do try to get a word in they know good and well that I really don't hear'm, I might as well have ear plugs in.. Quad day, yeah, definetly my fav. without a doubt.. when those knee wraps go on after '3' plates, play-time is over!!!!.. That's just me, that's just how I roll it.. & that my friends is what makes life ez, just compare anything to leg day and it's cake.....................lata'. "NW"

Did chest, bi's and abs last night. Should have done back as well, but I was dragging and couldn't put into them what was needed.

Did back today! First time doing deadlifts in awhile. I went very light just to get the movement down, and also to adjust my body to such a draining exercise. I don't think I'll reach my PR of 405lbs any time soon, but it's a work in progress.

Chest and tris today.
I couldn't get to sleep last night, dunno why. Was up till after 1 AM, then the alarm went off at 5. I was laying there thinking about cheating and not lifting today, but my tris were all warm and twitching.
You know how the dog acts when he thinks he's going somewhere, and he's waiting for you to get ready? Standing by the door, all excited and prancing around, whining and watching you. I SWEAR it felt like my triceps were doing that to me. C'mon, c'mon! We're ready we're waiting...c'mon! LET's GO!
So we did. I'm glad.
Sounds crazy.

Quads and Calfs today.. i am lucky my legs seem to grow just from walking but as i need to really get the cuts out for my comp this is the Quad routine i have been doing ..
Leg exstensions 2 sets warm up 30 reps Leg press 6 sets of 10 reps with 10seconds rest between each set Leg exstensions 3 sets
this will absalutly kill your legs big time i can only use 4 20kg plates either side of the leg press machine compared to when i go heavy and press 24plates total...(still trying to break Stu Cores record in the gym of 28plates for 8 reps.... ;D)

Hummm....just noticed I have been answering only on chest day, haha. At any rate, thats what I did tonight. Chest/Bi's/abs. I'm trying a new creatine called "Evolve" sold at GNC. Seems to be a good one so far. Great pump and staying tight longer. I'll keep all posted if it goes poorly.

WoW, this seems like an OLD Thread - but oh well - I like it !
I 'm just starting to following th Body for life routine (well sorta ) doing 12/10/8/6 reps with no rest - then resting for 1 1/2 minutes and going to another exersise
Starting out Light - and incrementing the weight - so the 6 will be a killer - anyway - i did chest today- starting out with incline DB press followed by regular flat bench then DB flies
I followed this with about 15/20 minutes of abs.. I'm get this bod HARD one one or another!

This is an old thread but some people still use it.
You can start a journal in the journal section if you like also.
